ENIGMATIC NARRATIVES
There are no people included in any of the Hunter/Gatherer photographs, but the human element is embedded in the images. After shooting at antique fairs and similar venues for several months, I began to include human and animal figures in the scenes - mannequins, ceramic figurines, illustrations, photographs, etc., transforming collections of lifeless objects into quirky, animated tableaux.
