April 1, 2022 – I am the featured artist in F-Stop Magazine’s April/May issue. More than 20 images from my American Amusement portfolio are exhibited online. There is also an extensive interview with Cary Benbow.

December 28, 2021 – Just learned that I have received a grant from The Artists Resource Trust, a fund of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. I will use the funds to travel throughout the United States making new work for my current project Hunter/Gatherer.

October 28, 2021 – Woohoo! Thrilled to announce that I have been awarded a grant by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation from the Martha Boschen Porter Fund in support of the publication of EDGE!! This grant, along with the funds raised on Kickstarter, gets us closer to covering the cost of publication. Many thanks to Berkshire Taconic and Kickstarter backers!

September 26, 2021 – Last night I shared the podium with my friend and fellow Berkshire photographer Shaun O’Boyle to present “Two Photographers / Two Paths to Photo Book Publication” - an ArtWeek Berkshires event. The audience members were treated to two very different approaches to making photography books.

September 19, 2021 – Yesterday I gave my presentation “40 years in 40 minutes” at Bernay Fine Art in Gt Barrington, MA. We had a very engaged crowd who asked several great questions which led to a wonderful animated discussion. Many thanks to all who attended.

August 31, 2021 – I will be giving two talks on my work as part of Berkshire Art Week. On September 18th at 4 PM at Bernay Fine Art in Great Barrington. MA I will be presenting “40 years in 40 minutes” - a whirlwind tour of my four-decade career as a fine art photographer. I will be presenting prints from several projects spanning my entire career, from early architectural pieces to the “Edge of Chaos” portfolios to my ambitious current project, Hunter/Gatherer. Prints from Hunter/Gatherer are included in Bernay’s exhibition “Be Still”. Then, on September 25th at 7 PM at Shaker Mill Books in West Stockbridge, MA I will team up with fellow Berkshire photographer Shaun O’Boyle to present “Two Photographers / Two Paths to Photo Book Publication”. August 20, 2021 – Group show “Be Still” opens today at Bernay Fine Art in Great Barrington, MA. I’ll be showing some new photographs from my ongoing project Hunter/Gatherer. The show runs through September 19, 2021. More details at the Bernay Fine Art.

July 9, 2021 – Very excited to learn that renowned photographer and author Tim Davis, professor of photography at Bard College, will be writing an essay for my upcoming book (we’ve changed the title to “EDGE”). Check out Tim’s latest book, published last month by Aperture.

June 3, 2021 – I will be exhibiting pieces from my “pod” series as part of the group show “Summertime” at Bernay Fine Art at their new location at the corner of Railroad and Main in Great Barrington. The show opens on June 11th. More details at Bernay Fine Art.

November 20, 2020 – Holiday show “Something Red” opens at Bernay Fine Art in Great Barrington today and runs through 12/26. This is the final exhibition at their current location. More details at Bernay Fine Art.

October 9, 2020 – Group show “The New Realism” opens today at Bernay Fine Art in Great Barrington, MA. I’ll be showing some new photographs and a few older pieces along with works by some of the best painters in the northeast. The show runs from 10/9/20 – 11/15/20. August 14, 2020 – WMHT-TV in Schenectady, New York interviewed me today for their weekly arts program “AHA – A House for Arts”. The episode will be broadcast on Wednesday, August 26 at 7:30 PM and can be viewed on Spectrum, Comcast, DirecTV, Dish and other services if you have local programming for the NY Capital District. August 7, 2020 –  I am thrilled to have signed a contract with Fall Line Press in Atlanta to publish my book, Edge of Chaos, in fall, 2021. Fall Line is an artist-owned business headed by photographer Bill Boling, who has been a prominent presence in the photography community for decades. The company is dedicated to producing a few high quality, small-run photography books and limited-edition print portfolios each year.  They also co-publish a quarterly photography broadsheet with Stephen Shore, one of the leading photographers who established color photography as an art form.

May 22, 2019 –  My solo exhibition at ArtSpace in Maynard MA opened yesterday and will run through June 28. There are 49 prints on display spanning my 40 year career in photography. Visit the ArtSpace website for gallery times and directions.
